Scenes: Summer 2024
(2025)
Print + Editorial Design
Scenes is a photography and travel magazine, that explores the stories behind my analog photographs in a narrative way. It's a passion project entirely made by me— from the photographs included, to writing and editorial curation, to design and layout— crafted from scratch. Although most of the photography began as independent projects unrelated to the magazine, many photos and their stories remain integral only to the magazine, not appearing in any other media.

The Summer 2024 issue covers my travels and photo projects from that summer. From long hikes and journeys, to photography projects in my hometown or whatever big city I was staying in at the time, there's a large range of different photography within the project, however the element that connects it all— it's all analog. Every photo was taken on film, and the visual style as well as writing focus on this analog way to explore and document the world. My goal was to design a unique magazine, incorporating differing styles and visual outlooks in each chapter.

From beautiful landscapes along rural train rides ,to long hikes through unexplored wilderness, to experiments with different film formats, I remain true throughout my documentation, providing an intriguing read, both through narrative and visuals.

The magazine currently finds itself as an in-progress project. I have finished the first test print, marking a big milestone in the creation, however it is still an on-going endeavour.
