About Me
I'm Otto Zlamets. I'm a multi-disciplinary designer and student originally from Latvia, currently living and studying in Bremen, Germany. (although also having lived in the Netherlands, Latvia, Belgium, Spain, Georgia, and Austria)

In my free time I'm a photographer and adventurer. I spend time traveling as much as I can, often by train, exploring the lesser known places around me, and capturing them. I mostly photograph on 35mm film, although also doing some digital work. I'm currently documenting my journeys and photographs through print, as I am working on a personal magazine series— entirely photographed on film, written, and designed by me. When I'm not working on a creative project I'm probably drinking coffee, sleeping, or enjoying the sun.
My creative journey began early, I could draw before I could talk. I've spent my entire life creating something, whether it's analog or digital; still or moving. Throughout my life I've had the chance to explore countless creative avenues, therefore gaining experience in visual art, product design, graphic design, cinematography, writing, media art, branding, printing, photography, 3D modelling, programming, and more. My childhood was spent moving from country to country, so far having lived in 8 different places. My range of experiences has shaped who I am, and established my creative, often trans-disciplinary approach to problems. I began freelancing in graphic design when I was 14, working with clients in multiple cities and many different fields. Since then I've branched out to performing many different tasks and solving various types of design problems, working with startups, non-profits, and individuals. Although a majority of my work has been in branding and graphic design, I've branched out to UX/UI, product, and editorial design, expanding my skill horizon even further.
Since 2022, I have been studying Digital Media (BA) at the University of the Arts Bremen, further exploring media art and design.

I have a wide range of skills in many different mediums and programs. With the experience I bring, I can promise innovative problem-solving, new perspectives, and creative solutions. I'm currently open to collaboration for work and projects, just talk to me, and I'll let you know if I'm the right fit.
